[Webinar] From zero to DPP: An EU-aligned toolkit for ESPR compliance

  • 888 Cheung Sha Wan Road Cheung Sha Wan, Kowloon, Hong Kong SAR China (map)

Event Registration: Webinar Registration - Zoom

Description

The EU’s Digital Product Passport (DPP) registry is now open, and textiles are next in line under the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR). Yet with data requirements for apparel still in draft, many brands, manufacturers and suppliers are asking the same question: Where do we actually start?

WTiN, TBIS and DigiClo, with partners from standards development and academia, offer a practical sustainability compliance workflow. Drawing on the Fashion Big Data DPP (FBD-DPP) Use Case Programme, the session covers an eight-step, EU-aligned methodology: classification, data-gap analysis, third-party testing and certification, then building, verifying, registering and publishing a complete DPP.

Attendees get an overview of core textile DPP data sets (general information, technical performance, environmental footprint, circularity and ESG) and hear from testing, audit and industry partners collecting them. Real use cases show how companies and suppliers use existing data today to develop DPPs, identify data gaps and manage DPP data across the supply chain, supporting market surveillance, consumer transparency and product development. We also preview an upcoming masterclass series.
